On 10/10/10, join the Lebanese community (online/offline) who will roll up their sleeves and get to work on actions that can help in the climate change cause — as part of 350.org’s Global Work Party!
Join us in Beirut (follow our blog for updates on exact place) and help us fund raise the purchase of a solar panel that the Lebanese community will present to the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon. Throughout the event and as we tweet away, we’ll get you charged up with an amazing performance by the talented Lebanese musician Habib Alberto and his amazing fiddle!
It is about time we started going for alternative energy resources in Lebanon and certainly it is about time that the Ministry of Environment took the lead on that. We, the Lebanese community (online/offline), are glad to help and definitely believe that there is not much time to waste!
We’d love your help in rolling this event: We’re on the look-out for co-organizers, sponsors, people who can help create community outreach + media buzz (online/offline) and people who can help in documenting the event (video + photos).
